About Covenant Christian Nation
Covenant Christian Nation, pastored by Pastor Poju Oyemade is fast-growing church in the city of Lagos. The church holds 4 different services every Sunday morning at different locations. Two of these services take place at The Covenant Place, Iganmu, another service takes place at the Yaba Centre and the Family Service takes place in Lekki at the Covenant Chapel.
At the Covenant Christian centre, midweek services take place on the following schedules:
- Every Wednesday at the Yaba Centre located at 400, Herbert Macaulay Way, Yaba, Lagos
- Every Thursday at the Lekki Chapel by 6:30pm
You can say Covenant Christian Centre is a church with three centres.
About Poju Oyemade
Poju Oyemade is said to have been called to ministry while he was still an undergraduate at the University of Lagos. He was ordained into ministry by Bishop David Oyedepo, the presiding bishop of Living Faith Ministries Worldwide (a.k.a Winner’s Chapel).
Pastor Poju describes himself as a teacher of the Word of faith. His messages help to provide insight into how believers can apply biblical principles in a pragmatic and practical way in their daily lives and businesses.
Poju Oyemade also hosts regular Faith Seminars, Singles’ Summits, Financial and Business seminars, and an Annual Conference known as “WAFBEC”. At each of these seminars and summits, believers are taught God’s word and how it can be applied directly to their lives and situations to produce godly results.

The Platform Nigeria: The Platform is a Worker’s Fair and National Development Fair. This event is to serve as an outreach of his Pastor Poju Oyemade’s ministry. Here, prominent Christian business men and women share how they have been able to be successful in their businesses by making use of and applying principles founded in the Bible.
Insights for Living: Pastor Poju Oyemade is the host of the regular television programme ‘Insights for Living’ that airs on the following media platforms:
- Silverbird Television: Monday – Friday (6:30am – 7:00am) & Sundays (7:00am)
- Channels Television Sundays (4:30pm – 5:00pm)
- Revelation Channel (UK) on Thursday (8:00pm) respectively
The Quantum Leap (TQL): This is one of the most recent additions to the list of television programmes hosted by Pastor Poju Oyemade. The Quantum leap airs on Silverbird Television by 3:00pm and Channels Television by 4:30pm every Sunday.

The Covenant Nation, Nigeria which was founded on March 1994 and is still in operation.
The Covenant Nation (formerly known as Covenant Christian Centre) was founded by Poju Oyemade. The church was founded on the vision to teach Christians about their identity in Christ Jesus, and how to live victorious lives in all aspects through their covenant rights and privileges. The Covenant Nation has birthed other initiatives such as The Platform Nigeria, Covenant Capital, Edu-Aid, and others.

The Platform was founded from a burning desire to build personal capacity and increase the productivity of Nigerians in the areas of business and governance. This will inevitably lead to national development. The Platform Nigeria is a conference that holds twice every year. Covenant Capital is an initiative of the church, Covenant Nation. The initiative exists to provide financial support and consultancy services to entrepreneurs in the church, covenant Nation. The Covenant Capital is to enable entrepreneurs to contribute in meaningful ways to their immediate communities via job creation, financial empowerment, and role modeling.

Pastor Poju Oyemade is admired by many for his practicality when addressing issues. During the coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria, Oyemade had taken a different position from some other prominent pastors on the closure of churches. Oyemade stated that “closing the doors of a physical building does not in any way mean the closure of the anointing of the spirit from working.”
When rape allegations were made against Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of COZA, by Busola Dakolo, Poju Oyemade has called for justice. He said he was heartbroken and sympathised with her. He also asked that steps be taken by the authorities Biodun Fatoyinbo was under and measures are taken to put an end to church hurt.
