Adebanke is a native of Osogbo in Osun State. She has acquired basic education up to the tertiary level. She was a resident in the United States of America, where she lived and worked before tying the nuptial knot with the actor cum singer, Gabriel Afolayan.

Adebanke and Gabriel Afolayan got married in 2018 after a romantic affair that kicked off in 2016. The introduction ceremony of the marriage between Adebanke and Gabriel Afolayan took place in the hometown of Adebanke, Osogbo, in Osun State, on April 2, 2018. Three days later, on April 5, 2018, a grand traditional marriage ceremony between Adebanke and Gabriel Afolayan occurred in Oluyole, Ibadan in Oyo State. The wedding ceremony had several entertainers comprising actors, actresses, movie directors, musicians, and family members in attendance.

The marriage between Adebanke and Gabriel Afolayan suffered a nuptial skirmish in 2019 though the nitty-gritty of the differences between the couple was not brought to the public fore. Gabriel Afolayan is a native of Kwara State. He was born on March 1, 1985, to a pioneer actor, filmmaker, dramatist, and producer in the Nollywood industry, Adeyemi Afolayan, popularly regarded as Ade Love. Ade Love was featured in the 1976 film, Ajani Ogun, and Taxi Driver, with his time in the industry spanning from 1966 until he died in 1996. Gabriel is the last child of his parents, with his other siblings also in the entertainment setting, they are; Moji Afolayan, Kunle Afolayan, Aremu Afolayan, and Toyin Afolayan, also known as Lola Idije.

Gabriel Afolayan attained elementary and secondary school education, up to obtaining a bachelor’s degree. It was during his teenage years whilst in secondary school that Gabriel Afolayan decided to refine his acting skill as he participated in various drama groups. With heightened zeal in dramatic arts, Gabriel applied for Theatre Arts at the Univerisity of Ibadan, after obtaining his Senior Secondary Certificate upon completion of secondary school education. Gabriel Afolayan obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Ibadan in fulfillment of his undergraduate programmme.

Gabriel Afolayan is an actor and singer that has attained a degree of success in Nigeria’s entertainment sphere. Gabriel Afolayan’s entry into the movie scene was when he was featured in the Baba Sala-produced film, F Opawon. Though he received wider recognition when he was featured in Madam Dearest, a Tade Ogidan film, and Nnenna, a TV series produced by Wale Adenuga.  From thereon, Gabriel Afolayan has been featured in several films in Nollywood. His portrayal of Taiver Jambari in the 2012 film, Hoodrush, earned him accolades and recognition even further. Other movies he has featured In are, Citation, 7 Inch Curve, Okafor’s Love, Ojuju, Gold Statue, Ailatunse, Coming From Insanity, I Ride With You, among others.

Gabriel Afolayan is also a singer that goes by the stage name, G-Fresh. He has released about six musical albums such as Cute Bunny, So Fine, Amoke, Ko Le Ye Won, and others. For well over a decade, Gabriel Afolayan has put out his talents in acting and singing and has received several accolades. For his role as Tavier Jambari, in Hoodrush, Gabriel Afolabi won the Best Supporting Actor category in the 2013 Africa Movie Academy Awards, and a nomination for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in Nollywood Movie Awards, for the same film, Hoodrush.
