Desmond Elliot is a Nigerian actor, movie director, and producer-turned politician. A native of Lagos Island in Lagos State, Oluwashola Desmond Elliot’s exploits in the movie entertainment industry in Nigeria earned him national and international acclaim. After starring role in over 200 movies in the Nollywood industry, Desmond Elliot decided to take a detour into politics, making his declarations for elective position in 2014 and thereafter participating in the 2015 general elections for the position of representative of Surulere 01 Lagos State House of Assembly, under All Peoples Congress (APC) political party.

Victoria and her husband, Desmond Elliot dated for eight years before their marriage in 2003. The duo crossed part for the first time in 1995 in Jos, Plateau State. Then Desmond and Victoria were pursuing undergraduate studies at Lagos State University and the University of Jos respectively. The pair grew, though of varying temperament, began as friends then grew to be lovers for two years shy of a decade, before tying the nuptial knot.
The traditional marriage ceremony between Victoria and Desmond Elliot took place on December 25, 2003, in her native land of Akwa Ibom State. The couple has four children, comprising of two sets of twins. The first set of twins was born shortly after their marriage. Their names are Denzel and Desmond. On September 16, 2010, the couple welcome the second set of twins, a boy, and a girl. The boy was named Donald while the girl, Dawn. So, there are three boys and a girl.
Being a mother of four young children, Victoria Elliot balances her work life in such a way that her motherly obligations to her kids and husband are not sidelined. Equipped with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, Victoria ventured into the banking sector immediately after graduating from the University of Jos. As a banker, her roles involved managing clients’ bank accounts, overseeing transactions of clients, signing on new clients, and other roles as expected of a banker. Subsequently, she left the banking sector and ventured into the movie industry.
As a co-founder and managing director of Denzoit Productions company, Victoria Elliot’s foray into the movie industry is phenomenal as her level of competence in movie distribution, which is her specialty, gained her nationwide recognition. As a movie distributor for Denzoit Productions, her responsibilities include setting the release dates of movies produced by the company through several windows such as Cinemas, DVD, and digital on-demand platforms, and the marketing of movies by Denzoit Productions. When One Door Closed, Love Police and, Wish of Mothers are some movies that were produced and distributed by Denzoit Productions.
As a manager of Denzoit Productions, she oversees the activities of the company that includes, but are not limited to developing concepts and setting together a team to achieve the content, scripting, hiring, casting, planning, and logistics.

Who is Desmond Elliot?
Desmond Elliot was born in Lagos State but he grew up in the city of Jos, Plateau State. He obtained primary and secondary education in Jos at Airforce Primary School and Saint John’s College respectively. He bagged a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Lagos State University in 2002.
After graduation from university, he began acting in several television shows such as Everyday People, One Too Much, to mention a few, before entering into Nollywood in 2005. She went to feature in over 200 films, as well as movie directing and production, earning accolades for his work.
In April of 2015, he was sworn in as one of the 42 Lagos State House of Assembly members. He represents Surelere 01 Constituency, succeeding Kabiru Lawal. He got re-elected for a second term in 2019. He won both elections under the All Progressives Congress political party.
