Yul Edochie’s wife born Mary Aligwe, is a native of Anambra State in the Southeastern region of Nigeria. She attained educational training till university level as she is a graduate of the Enugu State University of Science and Technology, Enugu State. She had her elementary and primary education and had the First School Leaving Certificate on successful completion of that phase. For her secondary school education, she attended the Airforce Secondary School, Ikeja in Lagos State. The six-year run, May had in Airforce Secondary School, Ikeja culminated into the Secondary School Certificate Examination, with grade enough to allow her to apply to the Enugu State University of Science and Technology to pursue Computer Engineering.

In 1999, May Aligwe got admitted to study Computer Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering, Enugu State University of Science and Technology. For ten semesters in five years, May slugged it out at the Department of Computer Engineering in the Enugu State University of Science and Technology, graduating in 2003 with a well-deserved Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering.

May Aligwe met her husband in Choba, Port Harcourt, Rivers State during his undergraduate days at the Federal University of Port Harcourt. May Aligwe and Yul Edochie kicked off a budding romance that culminated into a marriage union on October 30, 2004, six years after dating and courtship. The young couple recently celebrated their seventeen years of a union in matrimony. The couple has four children, namely Danielle Yul Edochie, Kambi Yul Edochie, Karl Yul Edochie, and Victory Zane Chibuike Yul Edochie. Danielle is their first child and only daughter. She was born April 14, 2005, a couple of months after the marriage of her parents, Yul and May. Danielle has been a brand ambassador for several adolescents and teen-focused commercial entities. Danielle is presently an undergraduate student in a tertiary institution of higher learning.

May Aligwe is a wife that Yul Edochie has constantly praised for the support and effort she renders and had rendered during their sojourn together as a couple. She is also a Chief Executive Officer of DKK Investment and. DKK Investment and Realtors is a company co-managed with her husband, Yul Edochie, incorporated in Lagos State in July 2013. The company has interests in several realms including aluminium manufacturing and Real Estate Estate practice, among others.

May Aligwe’s husband was born Yul Chibuike Daniel Edochie was born to the family of Josephine and Pete Edochie on January 7, 1982. He is a native of the Southeastern State of Anambra. Yul Edochie attended Lilian’s Day Nursery School and Robinson Street Primary School, where he got his First School Leaving Certificate upon completion of elementary school education. For his secondary school education, he went to Marist Brother’s Juniorate, Uturu, then the University of Secondary School, Enugu. Before he sat for the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination in New Haven Boys Secondary School, Enugu, he briefly attended the Ecumenical Community Secondary School, Enugu State. He proceeded to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in Dramatic Arts from the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Yul Edochie has a thriving acting career with notable accolades to his name. He is also a film director and owns a film academy, Yul Edochie Acting Academy. He acts as an ambassador for several brands such as Life Beer.

He is a also politician with experience at the polls under the umbrella of the Democratic People’s Congress for the position of Governor of Anambra State. He lost the election though.
