Ali Mohamed Nuhu was born on March 15, 1974, in Maiduguri, Borno State to Late Mr. Nuhum Polom and Late Hajia Fatima Karderam Digema. Ali Nuhu is originally from the Balanga town of Gombe State but he spent his childhood days growing up in the cities of Kano and Jos where he obtained his elementary and secondary school education. He attended Riga Special Primary School in Sabon Gari, Kano State, where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate. Due to Polomo Nuhu’s business which took him from one state to the other, Ali Nuhu attended secondary school in Plateau State. He obtained his secondary school education from Government Secondary Commercial School, Tofa, and Science Secondary School, Tofa, all in the capital city of Jos, Plateau State. Equipped with his Senior Secondary Certificate Examination, Ali Nuhu applied to study Geography from the University of Jos, Plateau State. He bagged a Bachelor’s degree In Geography on successful completion of his undergraduate program. In a bid to hone his acting talent, Ali Nuhu sought to acquire further education that would prepare him for the movie entertainment industry. Thereafter, Ali Nuhu attended the University of Southern California where he acquired a degree in Film Production and Cinematic Arts and then proceeded to India to study at the Asian School of Media Studies, New Delhi.
