Barclays English Premier League is now on DSTV. So, if you want to watch the whole 380 matches live, you are better off with DSTV. However, to be able to view the SuperSort channels that show the Barclays Premier league in Nigeria, SSNi3 and SSNi7, you have to subscribe for the DSTV premium package, which goes for N13,980/month.

DSTV Compact N6,000 Naira per month

DSTV Compact offers you all DSTV Family channels and more.   105. In a serious note, Nigerian government needs to address a number issues e.g high prices of subscription as well as the unsuiting bouquet packaging pattern of Dstv service in Nigeria.
    I dont know why the government have since been acting mute over the issues of major concern even when the citizens feel being exploited by this foreign satelite tv company.
    However, as citizens, we are optimistic that the government has the capacity to do what it takes in addressing the areas of concerns abt Dstv services among Nigerian subscribers and we expect that the government do so in earnest.

I am family bouquet but DSTV always denied us access to an expected matches like, qualifier, friendly, even tournaments, since Nigeria, Cameroon that DSTV refused of given us the live transmission since then I was discouraged of paying any more subscription. In other neighbouring africa country they pay less than what we are paying, the cheating is too much and it has to be addressed. And again if DSTV saw that the national station or any other stations in their network will give the live transmission they will shut it down why? This has to be addressed.

  120. Thanks vic. I still dont get it. Did you have to buy another decoder for your single view?. Can’t one enjoy single view with explora decoder as in order decoder with normal subscription. In my case l am not interested in PVR function, catch up or whatsoever bcos of financial constraints and l know that the N2,170 is for PVR service. That is my question. Remember you told Niyi that he can subscribe with 1800 on his dstv explorer

    • @ AKin. I stopped using my explora for the same reason. I downgraded to compact and did want the PVR function, yet DSTV said I must pay N2,170. So I stopped using the Explora for over 5 months now. I only use one TV. It DSTV’s way to extra more for nothing. The fact that you have to pay this extra is virtually hidden during ads and in south Africa the company was warned by the Regulators.

  123. I use dstv explora and wish to know if it is compulsory that l must pay the additional fee of N2,170 to any chosen bouquet before l can use d decoder at all. I like to watch football but l can not pay 16k. I can manage to pay for compact plus or the normal premium of N13,980. I was told in Akure that bcos l use explora l must add N2,170. That’s why l have decided not to subscribe again. Let me know if it is possible so that I can subscribe immediately.

  124. Good morning, i tot all subscription paid for is suppose to be a month starting from the day you make ur payment to the next month.

    I made payment of 5400 on the 19/9/2015 and today 12/9/2015 am receiving an E16 Message. I called ur customer care center and the information i get is not pleasant at all. My claim is that i have not use up to one month.

DSTV In Nigeria is a scam, I ve been a premium subscriber (and extra view ) for almost 4 years now and your programing content is a sham, you repeat all your programs but only change the viewing time,imagine you just brought back Jacobs Cross in 2015 !!!! ???? ,the only program that is current is Football and as at the start of this season you no longer show bundelisga,serie A, so what on earth is the N16k monthly for???? anyway it’s not your fault it’s cause we don’t have any consumer protection laws in Nigeria, it’s just a Scam

  128. DSTV are robbing Nigerians because of lack of competent competition. In the Uk, we pay £20 monthly which is about 7k, and get all sports station. But we pay almost 10k for DSTV (monthly), yet we are denied SS5 which shows all epl games. It’s just unfair!

    Think DSTV have to look at themselves abit

    you said 90% of EPL matches can be watched with DSTV compact plus bouquet, can live EPL matched be watched and how many at the same time.

    Please help Nigerians and include these matches in this package, 9k is a lot of money. A lot of people are planning to migrate to other products that are cheaper and can show EPL live matches if nothing is done immediately.

  133. I am a Nigerian resident in Benin Republic. I have a dstv registered in cotonou. can I migrate same account to Nigeria and be making my subscription from Lagos. if not,can I buy just d smartcard.how much?

    • Hello Akin,
      The smart card is now tied to the decoder so buying a new smartcard in Nigeria may not work. However if you are moving to Nigeria permanent kindly visit the nearest Dstv office with your decoder and prove of purchase.

    • To enjoy the EPL and the Champions League you need to subscribe for the DSTV Premium Bouquet.
      You cannot add to your present subscription. It can only be done after this present subscription expires.

  138. how i wish i can pay for just 10 channels on dstv other channels are rubbish just subcribed for premium and found that mnet hd and other mnet movies channels keep repeating movies av downloaded and seen in HD. There movie premiere is nothing to write home about imagine transformers age of extinction still showing up till now on mnet i wonder when they are going to remove it. channels like telemundo SS3 SS7 SS5 SS6 SSBlitz becos of skysports news Lifetime MTV base Discovery Channel and NaGeo not NaGeo wild oo haba I can even pay 6000 naira to watch only these channels Dstv help ooo money no dey naija guys wan watch EPL ooo abeg Pls let us select channels by ourselves abeg even if its 8 channels we are OK

  169. I am a Premium Bouquet subscriber, which is now priced at N13,980. I am not a “Premium HD” subscriber. A text message I received nearly one hour ago requires “Premium HD” customers to pay N2,170 more. I want to believe it was sent to me in error.
