Olamide Adedeji, simply known as Olamide is a Nigerian rapper, a brand ambassador, a father and a businessman. Olamide is the founder and CEO of one of the fastest growing music reord label in Nigeria – YBNL Nation and he is arguably the richest Nigerian rapper. Olamide makes “dope money” like his song with Phyno but not all of his income comes from music. Especially in this age of piracy, downloads, and speedy file sharing.

Olamide was born and bred in Bariga, Lagos state in 1989 and since his rise to fame in 2011, he has remained relevant in the social scene and not only that, he has helped a few other artistes attain the much desired celebrity status. Between 2011 and now, Olamide has five albums to his name. These albums have collectively sold over 40 million copies worldwide. He makes money from his collaborations, his record label signees’ track release, album sales and event organization.

In 2013, Olamide became the first Nigerian to sign an endorsement deal with Ciroc and the deal was said to be in excess of N30Million. Later in the same year, he signed a deal to become of the brand ambassadors for the giant brand Guiness for around N80Million naira putting him on the act for the much popular “Guiness Made Of Black” campaign. 2013 wasn’t done with him yet, as Etisalat came knocking with an endorsement deal worth around N50Million. He recently renewed the deal and the renewal according to reports fetched him an extra N30Million plus the initial sign on fee.

Olamide charges between N2 million to N4 million per show for bookings and between N15k – N300k per show for organized events or his concerts (Olamide Live In Concert #OLIC). The rapper is also rumoured to possess two filling stations, one on the island, and one on the mainland. Olamide certainly knows how to enjoy his wealth too. He bought a luxurious house in the prestigious neighbourhood of Lekki, costing him N38Million. Olamide also has a number of fast cars, but his latest automobile addition was the Land Rover Range Rover.
