General Requirements for Admission into Postgraduate School, Nasarawa State University, Keffi
- All candidates who wish to gain admission to the postgraduate school must have at least 5 O/L Credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics.
- PhD programmes
Candidates who wish to apply for a PhD programme must be holders of M.A; M.Ed.; M.Sc. and LL.M degrees and must have graduated with a minimum of 4.00 Cumulative Grade Point Average or an equivalent percentage of 60% score in their academic Master degree programmes.

Postgraduate Diploma Programmes
Candidates who wish to apply for Postgraduate Diploma degrees can have graduated with a third class (honours) degree and Higher National Diploma (HND) in the first degree with a minimum of lower credit or its equivalents.

Master degree programmes
Candidates who wish to apply for a Masters degree must have a minimum of Second class honours degree (lower division) and must be applying for programmes in which they had their first degrees. However, those with higher classes of degrees and seeking admission into courses outside what they did in their first degrees may be admitted if they meet the Senate requirements.
