For hopefuls into any Polytechnics in Nigeria, where Federal Government-owned, State Government-owned or private-owned, the entry requirement is the possession of credit passes in the SSCE/GCE O’level examinations in a minimum of five subjects relevant to the intended programme. Polytechnics offer a more affordable means of acquiring tertiary education training as compared to the cost of university education in Nigeria. This translates to moderate school expenses. Also, irrespective of the owner of any polytechnic (Federal government of Nigeria, State governments, or Private individuals and organizations), the certificates acquired are equivalent.
