 Admission Requirements to study Estate Management

Admission into Estate Management under the Faculty of Engineering, Environmental studies & Technology can be through either of the following modes.

     UNIVERSITY MATRICULATION EXAMINATION (UME)

Candidates seeking admission via University Matriculation Examinations (UME) organized by Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) must have credit passes in O’ level examinations (SSCE/NECO/NABTEB) or any other equivalent examination. The credit passes must be in the following subjects: Mathematics, English language, Economics and any other two from the following: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Fine Arts, Technical Drawing, Agricultural Science and Building Construction. Results must be obtained in not more than two sittings. This is in addition to passing the entrance examination at the University specified level, also known as UTME/JAMB and Post- JAMB.

In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Estate Management in any Nigerian Universities is:

Mathematics, Economics and one other subject

DIRECT ENTRY (D/E)

Candidates applying via direct entry must have obtained degrees in a discipline related to Estate Management or Higher National Diploma in Estate Management. These candidates are admitted into the second year.

Holders of Higher School Certificate (HSC), GCE “A” level and OND in Estate Management are also admitted into their second year as long as they meet the requirements specified for UTME candidates.

Title of the degree to be Awarded

On successful completion of a degree in Estate Management, graduates are awarded a Bachelor of Science in Estate Management abbreviated B.Sc. (Estate Management)
