Courses Offered In LASU: Full List

Lagos state university is a leading university in Nigeria no doubt. It may be a state-owned university, but it has cut a niche for itself in the Nigerian education sector as a leading institution of higher learning.


The school had been able to produce graduates from various fields, who have impacted the lives of Nigerians like never before. The school is located at Ojo in Lagos State. Its motto is “For Truth and Service”. The school was established in 1983 and it presently has 61,000 students in various departments and programs available in the institution.

Students in the university are spread across the various programs in the university, like full-time and part-time programs. Aside the above, LASU also offers various courses in postgraduate, undergraduate and diploma levels. They equally offer MBA courses.

LASU was formerly a non-residential institution. It is presently distribute among a number of campuses across Lagos State. There is the Epe campus, which accommodates Faculty of Engineering and it is fully residential.

In the future, the campus is expected to also house Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, as well as the pre-degree program offered by the school. Faculty of Engineering has three departments, which are Chemical and Polymer Engineering, Computer Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

The Ojo campus is however the main campus of the institution. It is located along Badagry Expressway in Lagos State. Aside Epe and Ojo campuses, LASU also has campuses at Surulere and Ikeja, both in Lagos State.
