The approved Remuneration Package for Political, for Political, Public, and Judicial Office Holders determines how much governors of the states receive as annual pay. The remuneration package was prepared y the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).  This remuneration became effective since 1st of July, 2009.

In fact, the N8.9 million may not be able to buy some of the cars in their convoys.
