Zenith Bank Internet/Online Banking: How To Get Started

Zenith Bank Internet banking is a real time and convenient electronic solution that enables you access your account and also make some transactions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Zenith bank Internet banking solution is available to both Zenith bank’s Corporate and individual account holders and with it, the zenith Bank account holder can check account balances, view account statements, view and download transaction history for various accounts. In addition, individual account holders may transfer funds and make bills payments.

How To Register For Zenith Bank Internet Banking

For New users of Zenith Bank online banking platform, you would need to walk down to any of the branches to fill an application form or you can download the form directly by clicking here

Thereafter you would be given a token, access code, username and password which you would use on the internet banking platform. The token comes at a fee of N1,500

Steps to Follow:

1. Open the link https://ibank.zenithbank.com/internetbanking/

2. For the first log in, the customer must use the access code, user name and password given by the branch you filled the application form. After which the password is changed to the desired one and the access code, username and new password are used for subsequent log in.

3. You can also login using your account number and token code by ticking the token login check box.


4. After a successful login you can navigate to understand the various sections of the internet banking platform.

You can transfer funds as many times as possible a day but there is a daily limit of N2 Million and the funds can be transferred to both local (Zenith and other banks) and foreign beneficiaries.

Please Note: There are no charges, except for online fund transfer. Zenith to Zenith transfers incur no charges, Local Money Transfer (LMT) transfer fee is =N=210. A transfer from a Zenith account to other banks will incur NEFT or Interswitch charges depending on the switching platform used to make the transfer.

  1. It might be that the number you used to send the code is not the number you registered with your bank. Use the number you registered with your bank and it would work

  2. Please i lost my phone and sim card. And am not in Nigeria now. How can i register for mobile app or use my line here in doing transfer and checking my balance. Thanks

  3. some time last year i made a transaction through automated teller machine (ATM) and the transaction failed.The money transfered neither got to the destination nor reversed to my account. I went to the bank and laid a complain.they checked and confirmed it to me that the transaction was made and i was asked to write an application letter to that effect and i wrote. After the application, i was told by the customer care that in three (3)weeks time i would get the reversal alert.the three weeks came an passed but nothing happened,i went to the branch again an complained but i was consoled and promised to fixed it soon…..the soon has become till date.

    • Good morning, I have a hard token and I have been enjoy using it.Of a sudden I want to make transfer, then it refused and what I could see is that Token authentication failed. on complaining they send some numbers to me to key in to change my password. But I don’t know where to go, on which platform will I change the pass word of the token? Please help me out Zenith Bank!!!.

  9. I downloaded the zenith mobile app. And unfortunately I could not recharge my line from it. It was so annoying. I tried again, it kept saying for me to recharge I have to go back to the main menu. But still not successful.

    Do something about it.

  13. I am client with zenith Bank and have tried in vain to use the i banking. Even the customer care personal I the branch I bank with tried to help but couldn’t. Please how can I reactivate my password and code. Also is my token still useful since I cannot do any transaction.

  14. I recently obtained my login details of access code,username, password and entered them. At the password box no “soft keypad” appeared to enable me continue the exercise. This failed procedure could be frustrating, please tell me what else to do to overcome this glitch or hiccup.

      I’m sure it would appear if you use another system or computer. Some computers block pop ups and some other browser functionality or you can try using another browser.

  15. I have troubles using my token. I have tried to follow the instructions on how to use the online banking but no headway.

      Your Zenith bank token is most likely not properly linked to your account. You may need to visit the nearest zenith bank branch and contact customer support to link it.

    • How can someone create token pin for internet banking. I log in for eazy money banking but asked for mobile pin in which I was not giving .l was giving soft token pin while I register.
