Cross Country Limited officially commenced operation in 2002, although the company was incorporated a year earlier. The transport company started with a fleet of 132 vehicles

Over the years, Cross Country has grown to become one of the top transport companies among road travellers. The company is also involved in carrying passengers in public conveyances and private vehicles

Currently, Cross Country Motors have over 500 buses that serve more than 26 destinations in Nigeria and parts of West Africa.

Cross Country is known to offer a unique package for NYSC corp members where these corp members are provided with a direct transport service from their bus terminal to the NYSC camp. In the course of their trip, the passengers are offered in-transit refreshment as well as souvenirs. Their service extends to all the 37 NYSC camps in the country.
