Four ways to get a Qatar Visa in Nigeria

Note that you are required to have a sponsor who is established in Qatar or lives in Qatar. To obtain a Qatar Visa in Nigeria you may wish to explore any of the following processes:

1. Qatar Embassy

You can pay a visit to Qatar Embassy in Nigeria where you can then submit an application for your Visa.

2. Qatar Airways

For those intending to travel using Qatar Airways, you can also contact the Airline to assist and arrange for a Visa for you.

3. Qatar Hotels

With an intent to travel to Qatar, you can look up hotels and possibly book for a place to stay ahead of time. Some hotels in Qatar offer assistance with Visa. You can make enquiries to that effect from the hotel you wish to lodge in.

4. Travel Agents

Travel agents can also help with Visa applications as they can become your sponsors. Be sure that the agents are trust worthy before you use them as your sponsor.

5. Friends and Family

If you have friends or family living in Qatar they can assist by sponsoring your Visa application. This increases your chances of approval as you already have a link from within.

6. Employers

For people seeking to work in Qatar, you can apply online for jobs in Qatar. After you are successful, you can easily as for your employer to be your sponsor and this will hasten the Visa application process.

It should be noted that the Hotels, Agents and Airways can only get you travel Visas and do not offer guarantees as the application is subject to approval from the Embassy.

Documents Required for Visa Application

The following documents are required for processing your Qatar Visa along with your application:

  • A valid international passport, with a validity not less than six months from the applicants intended stay at Qatar. The passport should also have pages available for placement of the Visa.
  • A 2” by2” colored passport sized photograph.
  • Photocopies of the information page of your international passport.
  • An invitation letter in case of tourist Visa or a Company letter in case of Business Visa must accompany the Visa application, with a detailed explanation on the purpose of your visit.

The Visa processing takes up to 12 business days for a tourist Visa and up to a month for a working Visa.
