    I downgraded my subscription from Premium to Family bouquet in Febraury 2017 in one of your locations in Osogbo, Osun state and paid N5800.00 for that purpose.
    I was confronted with certain debit balance when I was to renew the family bouquet towards the end of February 2017 and thesaid location has been unable to resolve it till date.
    Investigations from the outlet revealed that they did the downgrade but that DSTV system did not downgrade as instructed by them.
    Now, there is a prima-facie case of fraud somewhere as several mails and phone calls to Lagos Centre have not yielded any positive result.

    I cannot pay for somebody’s negligence and or system error and urgently need to subscribe for my family.
    I wish to request management of DSTV to URGENTLY resolve this issue to avoid escalation and embarrassment.

    • I have a similar problem. I made payment to dstv through my mobile phone in the sum of N18000 for a 3 month subscription. My bank has confirmed the transaction and dstv has acknowledged the payment. It was some hours later that i realised i had made a mistake in quoting my decorder number. All my efforts to get to customer care or any other option has failed. My problem now is multichoice is not concerned and is therefore not helping. I had reported to an online forum where i was advised to wait foe the issue to be resolved in 3 days. It is now 4 days and no one has contacted me neither has my subscription been restored. Even the telephone nos used by the dstv usually to remind me of the expiry dates of my 3 months subscription does not respond now.
      I am really disappointed and disturbed that dstv is showing no concern and it looks like am about to lose my N18000. I accept the human error i committed but that should not mean dstv cannot do anything about it, afterall they have received the money as remitted by my bank.

Poor service and illegal disconnection by multi choice.my bouquets is collective acc which am using for business but your company with their poor service has made me to hate them.DSTV is only extorting us in Nigeria because of monopoly you are enjoying.I at times spend thousands of naira to call your customer care yet you would not reconnect not until when one looses customers which results to loss while you make your profit. You will never yield to this complaints as it does not affect your company. When Hitv was in operation it was not like this and by this DSTV is nothing but a curse in Nigeria economy. DSTV will soon fold up if you continue like this and you become thing of the past in the history of Nigeria.

    I purchased a decoder for my fiance. I’m in south africa and he’s in Nigeria. The decoder was purchased from a Multichoice employee and the payment will be deducted from her salary. Now Multichoice Nigeria wants proof of purchase. My Multichoice SA employee can send an email to multichoice Nigeria but Nigeria didn’t give us the email address we should send the email to.       This could be a software issue or a connection issue. But since you stated it was connected properly can you state how far the secondary decoder is from the primary decoder. If it is distance issue then a booster could be the solution.

Sorry I just noticed today that all BPL matches and commentaries has been moved to ss5 instead of ss3 which is basically a football station, this is quite UNFAIR as I pay 9,420 for compact plus monthly and cannot watch live premiership matches rather a championship mach (lower division) was aired, multi choice show please correct this shenanigans as they cannot keep exploiting us after paying so much to hook up with their network,

      1. Fix errors
      2. Get your payment info
      3. Update your profile and personal details
      4. View your account balance and transaction history for the past three months
      5. Make online credit card payments and set recurring monthly payments
      6. Reconnect once your payment has been made, and activate packages
      No 6 is what you intend to do.

  395. I have a little problem with my decoder anytime I want to put it on. It takes sometime before boothing as I need to put on and off for about three to four times before coming up. Please, what do l do now.

    • Hello Sodunke,
      Are you using the new decoders or the old set that was phased out.
      It’s either a software issue or a hardware.
      I would recommend you check if you need to upgrade your software and if there are no available updates then you should take the decoder over to a DSTV office for hardware checks.

  407. I made all efforts to swap my dua decoder and single one before the expiration time given but my efforts were twarted by some of your staff that kept on requesting for money before the swap. I was asked to pay N10,000 which l objected and therefore all methods were used by frustrating the swap. From complaints that there are no decoders to the few left are owned and that i should come back until the time was over. Now i have been asked to pay for the new ones which i will never do. Even the expora i managed to swap i still paid. So what sort of nonsense is this. Your onireke office at lbadan has seriously frustrated me and lost interes in dstv.     • Kindly visit the nearest gotv office. The subscription fee has increased but most payment platform still show the old subscription price hence the discrepancies.
      For now its advisable to pay at their office until the issue has been resolved on the various payment portals.
