First online is the internet banking platform of First Bank Nigeria, the oldest Bank in Nigeria.
This article seeks to show you a step by step procedure for registering, logging in and using the First Online internet banking platform successfully.
How to Register
To register for first online, you should visit the First Bank webpage on https://www.1stbanknigeria-online.com/Dsignup.htm . Download the application form and fill it correctly, after which you should take it to any First Bank Branch close to you for submission.
How to Login Successfully
To log in to your first online platform, you would need to visit https://ibank.firstbanknigeria.com/FBN/login.aspx .
After logging in, you should look at the left hand side of your page; you would see the ‘mail’ button, click on it and then go to your inbox.
Go to the message with the subject “Login Details for The New Online Banking Application”. This message contains your initial log in details.
Visit the first online website and enter your default password and username. Make sure the password is entered the same way as it comes in the mail, without adding space or any other character. You should also note that the password is case sensitive.
After this initial log in attempt is successful, it is important to ensure that you choose a new, unique password which would be known to you alone. This new, unique password should contain at least one alphabet, special character, and number.
You would also be required to set up your security question and create your unique time stamp by selecting a password that would be easy enough for you to recall.
The last step is to confirm your email address, and after that, you would be able to start using your internet banking platform.
