List of Federal Fire Service Offices in Nigeria

The Federal Fire Service of Nigeria is responsible for rescue operations from fire incidences, fire prevention, fire fighting, and other functions as mandated by the Act of Parliament, which is the Fire Service Act. Additional roles of the Federal Fire Service include the regulation of State and Private fire services and ensuring adherence to set guidelines, the establishment of the National Fire Academy for training new firefighters, and the coordination of national emergencies among other similar obligations. Federal Fire Service offices are distributed among twelve zonal commands in Nigeria.

  • Federal Fire Service Headquarters, Federal Capital Territory Abuja

This is the headquarters of the Federal Fire Service of Nigeria located on Mohammadu Buhari Way, Area 10, Garki.

  • Federal Fire Service Zonal Command, Benue State

The Benue State Command is the zonal headquarters of Zone A of the Federal Fire Service. It is situated at No. 35 J. S. Tarkaa Way, Markurdi.

  • Federal Fire Service Command, Nasarawa State

The Nasarawa State Command is part of Zone A of the Federal Fire Service. This office is located at the Main Roundabout, Lafia, Nasarawa State.
