  1. Bwatiye ethnic group in Adamawa state are among the groups heavily impacted negatively by insurgency. At least 20 of its villages were burnt down in Demsa, Numan and Lamurde Local Government Areas and scores of human lives lost between 2016 to 2020. The situation has forced several indigent families to migrate to various other parts of the country to earn a living having lost their livelihoods to insurgents and herders.
Kaduna town has been one area here in the north where a good concentration of Bwatiye can be found. Elites of Bwatiye extraction living in Kaduna have found it necessary to form an association to find a way of making life meaningful for the internally displaced Bwatiye in Kaduna town. They have commenced building a skills acquisition centre which has reached roofing stage but due to paucity of funds, work has stopped.
Can any donor agency help complete this structure for us please? I can provide details if an email address is made available.
