Tiwa Reveals That She Will Be Coming with My Own Vibe (August 26, 2018)
Tiwa Savage revealed her expectations for her first London concert. According to her, she wants people to have fun and she also wants her fans, supporters, family and friends to come and feel the Tiwa’s vibe. Overall, she expects God’s will to be done.
The concert is to take place at the Indigo O2 on the 24th of August and it will be followed, the next day, by another in Northampton in the East Midlands of England. Both dates are part of “The Savage Tour” and draws from her many hit singles, as well as her two albums – “Once Upon A Time” (2013) and “R.E.D” (2015) – and an EP “Sugarcane” (2017).
Tiwa Savage was speaking during press rounds which took place at her lodgings in leafy Soho which historically has been a chief entertainment centre in London, an uncommon choice for Nigerian pop artists, a good number of whom opt for the tall rises of London Docklands.
She was surrounded by an attentive team that included a press manager, hair stylists and cameraman.
In her speech, Tiwa Savage’s accent showed a glimpse of her formative years which she had spent in London.
She revealed that she delayed her concert until because she wanted her repertoire to be much larger. According to her, it’s all about timing and currently, she feels like she is now comfortable as a woman and as an artist”.

According to Tiwa, she doesn’t plan for the project to exceed ten songs because she thinks in this day and age people can’t consume too much all at once. Also, budgeting wise, it can be quite expensive as you have to shoot videos for all these songs.
It would be recalled that Tiwa released her Sugarcane EP in 2017 after a tumultuous period in which stories of her marital strife was the subject of news headlines and gossip. However, very little of her personal life was apparent in the EP or singles she put out afterwards.
She disclosed that it was a personal decision for her. Also, she revealed that she draws from personal experiences which might mean probably having a friend who is going through that or is in a specific space in their lives and it’s something that works well with a certain beat or track that I have”.
