Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements

When writing the United Tertiary Matriculation Examination, all candidates for Health Information Management must write English Language.

O’level subject requirements needed to study Health Information Management

Candidates who wish to study Health Information Science via UTME are required to have a minimum of five credit passes at O’ level examinations: SSCE/NABTEB/NECO or its equivalent in the following subjects:
English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science and any two from Chemistry, Physics, Geography, Economics,

Direct Entry Requirements

Candidates applying via direct entry must have either of the following qualifications:

NCE subjects with Grade B in health-related subjects such as:

In addition to the qualifications above, candidate must meet the O’ level requirements which is five O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry or Physics and any other subject.

  1. That is not the requirements for direct entry in health information management. It’s only Available for those who had National Diploma or Professional Diploma in Health Information management and meet up the O’level requirements.
