Bishop David Oyedepo’s Private Jet: What We Found Out

Bishop Oyedepo who owns a private jet is the founder and general overseer of Living Faith Chapel International also called Winners Chapel. He is no doubt the richest pastor in Nigeria and one of the richest in the world. He also has the largest churches in the world.

He was born in September 27, 1954.  He is a preacher and an author aside being the founder of the living faith church worldwide. Headquarters of his church is in Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria.  The headquarters church can sit up to 50,000 people at a time.

The church has branches in up to 300 cities; he actually has branches in all the states in Nigeria. The church also has branches in up to 45 African countries. It has branches in other countries, like United States United Kingdom and Dubai.

Oyedepo is equally the chancellor of Covenant University as well as Landmark University.  In 2011, he was named as the richest pastor in Nigeria by Forbes Magazine.  His church headquarters is located on a 530 acre facility and it is referred to as Canannland.

It took 12 months to finish construction of the church.  The premises consist of the church building, church secretariat, church youth chapel, a primary school, a secondary school, Covenant University and staff quarters.

Prove of his riches can be traced to his private jets. As at present he has up to 4 private jets to his name. He bought his last jet in March 26th 2011.  The fourth jet cost $30m, which was equivalent then to N4.5b.  This latest jet is a Gulfstream V.
